Randall's Worship Class 5-26-04
Boy, this month has been so very exciting, surprises almost every night in class. Fairly frequently there has been a sense of prophecy directed to the group or individuals in the group.
Well, tonight was another of thoses nights, when heaven came down as the Holy Spirit ministered to us all. During the break between the two 80 minute sessions Fatima told me of how God had talked to her through the teaching last week about forgiving others and its tremendous importance if we desire to be "true worshipers". Then a guest speaker at her church spoke along the same theme. All of this culminated in her goig to someone in her church with whom she had a problem and asking forgiveness. This was a great victory for her.
The second 80 minute session was a particularly precious time as we experienced a powerful ministry of the Holy Spirit as I was directed to talk to them about taking advantage of these special times of the ministry of the Spirit and grace of God often in surprising ways. It was just wonderful as we prayed for different ones for special needs. We emphasized the following text about grace as God spontaneously inpired us.
(Luk 5:17) And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.
(Zec 4:6) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts. (Zec 4:7) Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
(2Co 12:9) And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
